So, what can you expect from a Safeguarding Audit?
Our safeguarding audit takes place over 2 – 3 days.
We will initially start with the review of your policies and procedures. Our team will consult with staff and service users to ensure a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
The safeguarding audit will assess whether the practice is in line with policies and procedures alongside national or governing bodies requirements.
Our safeguarding audits are extensive. It is a full inspection of current safeguarding processes, policies, and frameworks designed to highlight safeguarding risks within your organisation where interviews and discussions can take place if this is your requirements.
Constant discuss with all key stakeholders, staff, managers, governors, board of trustees, candidates, and relevant individuals will occur.
In a meeting initial feedback and findings will be highlighted from our identification and investigation process to ensure they reflect good practice and are in line with the latest legislative and regulatory requirements.
You will then receive a written report to take away and implement to ensure the safety and wellbeing of people within your organisation.
A comprehensive report with evidenced-based recommendations will be completed.
Action plans will be granted so that from the Safeguarding audits you and your staff, governors and management tea, can ensure that your future policy and procedures are as good they can be and that those subject to it can following it and adhere to it properly.
